Youngstown Amphitheater and Park Design Begins

Youngstown is on track to add another great attraction to its ever-improving downtown district. On Thursday, the city's board of control approved a $141,000 contract with Columbus architectural firm MKSK to design plans for an amphitheater at the Covelli Centre, a park along the Mahoning River, and ways to tie downtown and Mill Creek MetroParks to Youngstown State University.
