Youngstown Residential Developments Featured in The New York Times

Who wants to live in Downtown Youngstown?  Quite a few people . . . from YSU students and staff, to young business professionals, to retirees . . . all attracted to the urban lifestyle and convenience afforded by living in the entertainment district of Youngstown.

Residents have a choice of many great restaurants, lots of live entertainment, and cultural experiences all within walking distance of their apartment or condo.  According to statistics compiled by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, 6,000 people work in Youngstown's central business district, and approximately 1,000 people are expected to be living downtown by the end of the year.

The remakes of the old historic buildings are amazing.  For instance, the Erie Terminal Place ground floor offers an art gallery, brew pub and a cookie shop with 40 apartments upstairs. Amenities include on-site parking, a fitness center, social lounge, outdoor grills and wireless Internet.  The Wick Tower, now undergoing renovation, will feature 32 fully furnished up-scale modern apartments with a first-floor deli/cafe.
