Support Meridian HealthCare at the Winter Sprinter

For the second year, Meridian HealthCare is holding their annual Winter Sprinter race to support addiction recovery and prevention in the Mahoning Valley! Register today to participate in either the 2-mile walk or 4-mile run; plus, enjoy an after-race breakfast! It's all happening Saturday, February 24th in Canfield.

Most of us know someone who has been afflicted by some form of addiction in their life. For the last 46 years, Meridian HealthCare has sought to help individuals and families in their struggle with drug addiction, mental health, housing, medical treatment, and more. You can be a part of this community support network by registering today for the Winter Sprinter event!

The race starts and finishes at the McMahon Hall parking lot (7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road) and will be held on the Canfield bike trail. The 4-mile run is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and the 2-mile walk is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. Awards will be presented for the three fastest men and women in different age group for each race!

Registration for the event can be done by mail, online, or at 8 a.m. on the morning of the 24th. Registration is $35 for the run and $30 for the walk. Not much of a runner, but still want to support the cause? For just $5, you can enjoy hot chocolate and pancakes after the race (free for runners/walkers).
