The Mahoning Valley St. Patrick's Day Parade is Sunday!

Whether you're actually Irish or just feel green at heart, everyone enjoys St. Patrick's Day! As always, there's no better way to mark the holiday than by attending the annual Mahoning Valley St. Patrick's Day Parade, which is now celebrating its 40th year! You won't have to wait much longer, as the parade will be rolling down local streets this Sunday, March 11th!

Although St. Patrick's Day isn't actually until March 17th, the parade organizers just couldn't wait that long to show their Irish spirit! Billed as one of the largest parades in Ohio, the Mahoning Valley St. Patrick's Day Parade draws approximately 25-30,000 spectators each year. This year, the parade's Grand Marshal is the man who started it all, Pete Gabriel. You can learn about Pete and the parade's other honorees here.

On Sunday, the parade will kick off at 1 p.m. by heading west for a short distance on McClurg road in Boardman, then turning north onto Market Street for the majority of the parade's length.
